What is Label in a blogger?
Pictorial, descriptive, or informative matter (such as a brand, mark, or tag), attached, embossed, impressed, marked, printed, or stencilled on (or otherwise forming a part of) a product and/or its container.
It is like a topic or a brand that contains some files or posts which are similar to the name of the label.
For example, I want to make some posts in educational type and If I need to show all that type of post I can use Label and I will name it as Education. Then select all the posts which include educational posts. So if I want to see the Education related post I will just click to the label Education and It will show me all related content.
In simple Label is used to categorize the post in a particular topic
How to use a Label?
You can make a label in two ways while making a post or after making a post.
1. While making a post
In the page where we write the post-Right side in the Post setting Labels option to appear write the label which is similar or easily specifies your post then clicks done.
2. After making a post
In the main page of posts
1. select the post you want to categorize.
2. then click to the label button left side to the publish button shown below in the image.
3. then click to the New label
4. A small dialogue box will open
5. then type the name of the label and click ok.
Use label in the link list
A link list is like an image is shows ↑ .
In my site, I have made a category of my post Programming Language using link list.
If you click to this category you will be redirected to the all programming language-related post. You can make this using Label.
In the page layout section add a label gadget then save arrangement and it will shows in your site in the label section in your site click to the label you make and save the HTTP link and save it at page layout section click to the link list gadget and add site name and below paste the link you copy and then save link then arrange it where you want to show.
